Lawrence is the group editorial director of Incisive Media, financial information and publishing company serving the asset management, legal, accountancy, risk management, professional computing and insurance industries, a position he has held since January 2007.
He was the founding editor of Investment Week in January 1995, and has also worked for Reuters and the Financial Times group.
