Chris Kinder, Fund Manager, UK Equities - Threadneedle (Newcastle, Manchester and Cambridge)

Chris Kinder is a fund manager in Threadneedle's UK High Alpha team. His main responsibilities are the management of the Threadneedle UK Extended Alpha Fund and the co-management of the Threadneedle UK Absolute Alpha Fund. Chris also provides analytical input into a number of High Alpha mandates, and is responsible for coverage of the aerospace and defence, oil services and banking sectors. He is also responsible for idea generation for the wider UK Equity team.
Prior to joining Threadneedle, Chris was an assistant fund manager at RWC Partners. He has also worked at Govett Investments, gaining experience in smaller companies' analysis. Chris is a qualified chartered accountant, having worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 4 years before joining the investment management industry.
Chris is a chartered financial analyst and holds a degree in Modern European Languages from Durham University.
